MEET THE MCKENZIE FEED STAFF!

DANI WRIGHT

Hello, I am Dani Wright, owner and founder of McKenzie Feed. Growing up I always had animals. I have owned just about every critter there is, it seems. My favorites are dogs, horses and cats, if I had to name a few. I prefer the furry type of pet vs. the reptile like ones. I am an honorary vet tech and am able to go to many veterinarian clinics and expos to keep up on all that is new in the marketplace. I like to study nutritional journals and visit with local vets about pet allergies and needs. Please feel free to ask any cat, dog, pet, equine, chicken or livestock question and if I don't know I will use my resources to help you out. I am a 4-H leader for swine, am a member of Oregon Equestrian trails, Back Country Horseman and am in the LCC Small Business Management program. See you out on the Trails, LNT.

Hello, I am the store manager and my friend here is Tom, Tom or Big Foot, the store cat. I am the oldest member of McKenzie Feed. I have lived in Oregon about 20 years, yes a California transplant. I have two children both girls and one granddaughter, another girl. We raise Hereford cross cows on our 6 acres. When the girls were little we did 4-H together. First it was sheep, we had about 25 at one time, then we went to cows. I was a 4-H leader in sheep and cows and loved it all. We had horses too, up to 5 at one time. They went with the daughter, but miss them still. I have also raised boarder collies, such great dogs. So if you have any questions about your animal I will be more than glad to help. If I can not give you an answer I will give it all I have to get it for you. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon.

Howdy do-
Being a lover of animals, I have owned many. I have enjoyed the affection from the furry, hoofed and pawed, the feathery, yard and exotic, and the cold blooded. I have been involved in 4-H both as a child and now as a mom. My farm is a safe haven for many outcasts, pound puppies, and senior citizens. We love every one of them and do our best to enrich their lives as they do ours. Living on a farm most of my life and my love to read, I have learned many things. Feel free to ask questions, if I have the knowlege, I'll share. If not, I will work with you to find the answer. Around here, we love the chance to talk to someone new. So, stop by, pull up a stool and give us a try.

I'm the guy who runs back and forth from the warehouse to the front desk. I'm a country boy from Mohawk, I've been raised around horses, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, ferrets and goats. I know the basics and if you have a tough question I'll search until I find you the answer. For hobbies I hunt, fish, ride quads and work with my hunting dog Maverick. Hope to see you around!
